Garage Flooding Emergency Guide

Garage flooding can happen during heavy rainfall, surface water flooding, or when water enters through doors or damaged walls. A flooded garage can quickly damage vehicles, tools, electrical equipment, and stored belongings.

Step 1: Stay Safe

Do not enter a flooded garage if there is any risk that electrical equipment or wiring has come into contact with the water. If it is safe to do so, switch off the electricity supplying the garage before entering.

Step 2: Protect Your Property
