Flash Flooding Emergency Guide

Flash flooding is one of the fastest-developing water emergencies. It can occur after intense rainfall, overwhelming drainage systems and causing water levels to rise within minutes. Acting quickly is essential to protect yourself and your property.

Step 1: Put Safety First

If flooding is developing rapidly, focus on keeping yourself and your family safe. Do not attempt to walk or drive through floodwater, as it may be deeper or faster flowing than it appears.

Step 2: Protect Your Home
